ABOUT US

Meeker Middle School (KSD) offers a year-round dance program for 7th and 8th grade students. Dance skills, teamwork and friendships create a solid foundation for a successful middle school experience.

All levels of dance ability are welcome and no experience is needed to be apart of the Meeker Emerald Dance Team. Over the course of the year, dancers will gain flexibility, confidence, technique and self discipline. We start with the basics and work to increase skills over time - there is something for all dance levels! We learn and perform a wide variety of dance styles. Our goal is also to prepare those who are interested in continuing dance team into high school.

The team attends dance summer camps and have many opportunities to perform and compete during the year.

We hold team tryouts in the Spring. If interested in more information, please check out our tryout page and fill out the interest form!
